Keviltub exists to create a bridge between established forms of performance and movement and the possibilities opened up by digital practice and community-led work. We are part of the Frontline Dance family and share its commitment to inclusion, quality, and access—while focusing specifically on the space where creative performance meets digital innovation and community participation.
Our name is deliberately distinctive. We wanted something that felt both grounded and open to interpretation: a creative performance studio that does not rely on a single style or tradition but instead invites collaboration across disciplines and formats. The result is a hub where artists, educators, and participants can develop work, share practice, and explore new ways of making and experiencing performance.
What We Believe
We believe that performance and movement are for everyone. Our programmes are designed to be accessible to people at different stages of their journey—whether that is a first workshop or a long-term residency. We also believe that the future of performance includes hybrid and digital forms. The Digital Performance Lab exists to support that experimentation without losing the irreplaceable value of live, in-person encounter.
Our Place in the UK Sector
The UK has a strong tradition of community dance, integrated practice, and artist-led companies. Keviltub contributes to that tradition by offering a dedicated space for creative performance development, digital R&D, and community workshops. We work with partners across the country and welcome enquiries from artists, organisations, and communities who want to connect with what we do.
